ax brakes

my sister has just got a p reg 1.0 ax, the brakes are very good but there
is a lot of pedal travel,is this normal.
fluid is ok. tim

Might be that the auto adjusters on the rear brakes have stopped working. The shoes would hsave farther to travel to touch the drums.
