Fitting cruise control to Xantia HDi Exclusive

Post by sprout »

Anyone shed any light on this.
I have a 1999 2.0 HDi Exclusive.
I am surprised it does not have Cruise control, as I believe the petrol exclusives do?
Anyone retro fitted cruise either by obtaining all parts from Citroen/car breakers or third party manufacturer?
If from car breakers what bits do I need to obtain?
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Martin

I have a '98 petrol exclusive and it does not have cruise control. Maybe the V6 did but it was an option on the other cars.

Cruise control was only available on Petrol automatic Xantias. It might have something to do with fitting the necessary switch to the clutch pedal to stop the engine 'racing' should it be depressed.

I had cruise control fitted to my 2.1 Xantia shortly after I got it. I went to Easycruise at Kidderminster in Worcestershire. Their phone number is 01562 827730

That makes sense, mines a manual.
