I have been waiting all week to get the Citroen taxed and use it.
Sop this morning, having taxed it, I drove it to the filling station, (funny, the steering wasn't coggy when I picked it up???)
And stopped at the wrong pump. Ok, move the car to the other side.
Turn key. Inert.
Push car. Turned out to be a corroded terminal on the starter solenoid, so mucky paws notwithstanding, I was away in ten minutes or so.
Got home, Decided to tighten HP belt. Little point, It is rather short on teeth! That'd explain it then...
I'll watch practice and then away to my local GS&F.
Life's going to be like that for a bit; it tends to be like that, recommissioning an old car. I'd better load the tools into the back, methinks[:I]
First day back on the road....
