I think its either Clarion or blaupunkt

All three citroen's that I have owned have had stereo's made by blaupunkt.

Sounds like the Clarion.
I just rang my local Cit dealer and they told me.
If you pull it out the Clarion has a round Din style socket for the CD connection, the Blaupunkt has a long oblong ribbon cable type connector.
