I'm glad it wasn't just me - paranoia was beginning to set in (along the lines of "damn - the management are on to me!"[;)]

Yeah, I thought I was barred or black listed from entering Andyspares! Luckily saw some people writing into Citroenz BX thread who confirmed there was some problems of logging in.

Let the professionals do the work [}:)]
- then things gets haywock [:D]
I once deleted my own administrator login account from a NT4 server - not having ensured myself a "backdoor" - guess what happened ...

Have vivid memories of being locked out of NT Servers as the Admin, and spending hours typing let me in, 12345, pass and suchlike to no avail. Learnt lesson to make an NT 4.0 boot disk (when you knew the password) and write the password on the boot disk and hide it away.

We all learn - do'nt we [:D][:D][:D]
- I was ordered to call MS support - at an hourly rate of some £180,-.
My boss was frustrated after 1.5 hrs fiddling - as a few accounts updates were needed.
Turned out the only solution was a complete re-install from scratch - which I already knew [8D][8D]
- had a "nice" weekend though [}:)]
Moral : as a systems admin on NT/2000/2003 servers always ensure yourself a backdoor - written down on a document stored in a fire & theft -proof safe-lock [;)]
- and for your own sake : keep it updated [8)]
