i have lost my interior lights and the boot light stays on all the time with the ignition on.one of the centre roof bulbs glows very dimly but goes out when the ignition is switched off.i have checked and disconnected the boot light switches but the problem remains.it's a 1995 2.0xm estate.any sugggestions anyone?

Yes, the time delay relay, located under the glove box (on LHD cars).

On second thoughts, you havn't been playing with the interior lighting button? (one of the row on either side of the steering wheel) - if you press that in and then leave it, after about 20 - 30 mins the interior lights go out and doesn't light up again when you open the doors. Just a thought!

NiSK.i've tried the switch and nothing happens,i've also tried changing the timer and the timer relay.if i've tried the correct components they are also under the glovebox on rhd cars,

NIsk.i was wrong,the relay was for the blower and i have yet to locate the timer.do you have any idea what the timer looks like? i may be able to backtrack and find the relay.
