This topic seems to have elicited an excellent response - I wonder where we should take it now? If one of us requires assistance in the middle of nowhere and we do not have our bluetooth-enabled laptop in the car [;)] what we need is a printed list. Would it be possible to somehow gather all our data in a similar format, and stick it in a downloadable PDF ? I may be able to help here

Ok, I am going to let this one run for a bit and then copy all interested party's details into a a PDF Doc. At this stage we're going to need names, phone numbers that sort of thing. In view of this its probably best that the PDF is not available for general download and that it has to be emailed out by a Moderator or Admin.
Please let me know what you think.

Fine by me too...I'd been wondering about the best means to make it available without provoking a spamfest or unsolicited calls.

How about making a version freely available with very general locations and names etc i.e. not full details and make the full detailed version available via an e-mailed request. That way you can see whether somebody is in your area without having to hassle the forum admins.

The number of replies just goes to show what a willing and generous lot we have on this forum.
I have received all sort of help and advice on here. There is a huge network of support for Citroen owners that I just didn't know existed 18 months ago. I reckon that Citroens are probably the best supported cars anywhere thanks to the existence of sites like this. I bet it is harder to get tech help for a Ford or Vauxhall- Thanks everybody!

You can add me to the list I'm a useless mechanic though I did replace an octopus once and have donoe numerous spheres. Have a decent toolbox (including a big socket which fits the end nut on drive shafts, long bar and piece of scaffolding to go on that!) and a shed full of various bits from a Mark1 19RD. What I could do really well is stand watching while someone else works! I'll supply copious quantities of cheap French beer, wine and fags!!
