Xantia VSX External Temp Sensor

Can anyone tell me where the sensor that detects the external temperature for the LCD display is located?? My temperature display just repeatedly flashes "- -"
HELP!!!

passenger side (left hand side as you sit in car)door mirror I think. Will try to find more detail for you tomorrow- but a bit late now

Hey i have flashing lines on my XM 2.1TD for ambient temperature reading...
Where is that sensor and what is usual problem with that one?

Hi, my L reg 1.9 td vsx has it behind the drivers side door mirror, remove the mirror glass,( wire clip on rear of glass which comes off upwards ) be careful as there are also 2 wires for the heater.
The sensor wire ( black on mine) goes into the car but I was able to cut it and resolder the new one on to the old wires.
The sensor is located into the bottom of the mirror housing and just pulls up from within the housing.

Any idea where you can get just the sensor from? Mines hanging out and obviusly goosed as i've got the flashing lines reading...

I bought mine from the local main citroen dealer
