I've not learned enough about the Snooper yet to do more than a global scan, clear the fault codes and scan again.

Not sure if it will do the stuff that a Lexia will do, need some lessons.

My Lexia never did get to work despite many hours of trying, at least the Snooper will connect and scan.

Rained off today so I might get on to the Wurth site and try to get a bit more educated. :)

First, I have to say that your diagnostic is incorrect Eric. It indicates a Delphi 3.4 Injection system that was not fitted until later C5s (MK III). You have the Siemens SID 803 Injection ECU fitted, which is a bit worrying as the fault codes can be different for each engine ECU.

Having said that the P1351 is the usual Glow Plug Relay error that they all seem to have - indicating that the GP relay control unit is open, despite the ECU commanding it shut. So I would ignore that for now.

This one, (P1434) is more concerning though, as the consequence of this fault means the additive pump is deactivated - and that of course means soot clogging over the next 200-400 miles. But if it gets too full (circa 70-80% +), then it's the filter off to unblock it as a regen won't be able to take place.

After sales description of the fault codeParticle filter additive system : Excessive temperature or open circuit
Description of the diagnosticsCircuit open for 1 second
Conditions of activation of the diagnosticsOn control of the particle emission filter additive pump
Battery voltage more than 7 V
No error on BUS internal to the engine management ECU
Conditions of disappearance of the faultIgnition on
Down-grade modes if fault presentDeactivation of the particle emission filter additive pump
Stopping of the cumulative calculation of the quantity of additive to be injected
Switching on of the warning lamp and/or warning message-

The P2408 fault is the same as before - fuel cap sensor signal fault. But we know the additive ECU controls this and the pump - so the ECU is still suspect - but I still think you have to programme the new one into the vehicle - and I can't help you with your WOW diagnostic tool.

I'll have to look at that again then, it offers two choices for the diagnosis the Bosch and the Siemens, I probably clicked on the wrong one in my rush to get it done.

Gave myself a headache watching the Wurth education videos this morning.

I read somewhere that these are supposed to get it all right from the VIN, but it obviously relies on selecting the correct options then.
