ZX: TD tuning and modifications

Post by ZXturbo_Aura »

hi everyone...
things like this have been rought up quite a lot but i thought i would dedicate one to tuning in general, not just adjusting the fuel and boost!
has anyone got any tips on improving the road handling other than fitting volcane shocks/dampers??or a strut brace? im running 195/50 15's, on pug gti alloys.and ay other way of making the zx that litle bit faster and better!!??

306 GTI-6 brakes...Stop quicker, so brake later.
Other than that you really are looking at the obvious fuel pressure upgrades and uprated springs and dampers.[:)]

The only other thing I can think of is to try and find somebody else's ZX, preferably in A1 condition and check the way it drives, rides and handles compared to yours. If its better, uprate/replace the suspension components. Uprated engine performance/braking is downgraded if your suspension/dampng is shot.
We need an ultimate ZX devoid of any faults to check our steeds against methinks.
