Anyone own a C Crosser?

Hello anyone here own a C Crosser as I need help and so does the Car.

Most recent problem run out of fuel, gauge showing 1/4 no low warnings, whilst checking the tank sender/float we shorted out the connection to see which way the gauge went, well the led or lcd display went through a few different screens which was surprising, and went from its RED colour which it has been since I bought it to an AMBER colour, my question is if its on RED is there a problem? My obd tool says no, but as you know with Citroens that means nothing, however we did get the sender to work by disassembling and moving the probes closer to the resistance track, now back together to see if it works in service!!

Also the Service information has been set to OFF

I think I have bought a Lemon, lots of other problems and items found or missing.
