Hi
I've bought today a C5 x7 saloon, RFJ petrol engine, year 2010. I would like and will appreciate every comment and advise regarding it, general and technical.
Thanx.

Ooh welcome to the X7 club Avi.

A good start will be to pop up your VIN - it will help with future questions and provide specs.

There are plenty of topics on issues about the X7 on the Forum and a Poll of ownership parts failures which you can see here:

The biggest and most common problem is the steering rack failure. Now you may have some saving grace if you are in a hot climate over there as the main issue is rust on the central pivot destroying the seals.

The other big thing to be aware of is that the suspension although similar, is different to the MK II. If you have the hydraulic version, be aware that the struts are different and cannot be repaired, there are no seal or components that can be replaced - the strut requires replacing. The multi-link suspension setup is also different to the MK II.

Anyway plenty on the forum.
