Has anybody changed their camshaft sensor.. ?

What does it entail and is it easy 2007 1.6hdi

Believe it’s in the back off camshaft in the top cover

No matter, it's the same sensor and in the same position - number 7 in the diagram:

I suspect it's not as easy as Haynes makes out.... :rofl2: That is going to be well buried under the scuttle, and is on the back of the engine. The Cit manual suggests putting a 9.5mm drill between the sensor and the timing belt cover, which probably removes the need to take the timing covers off (which requires removal of the engine mount IIRC....). What makes you think it needs a new sensor? It's only used at start up to check the synch of the cam and crank AFAIK....
