Pluriel 2004 - Tailgate struts part number

Post by JosephM »

Good afternoon,

The tailgate struts have lost there hold, is there a way how I can 'refurbish' them? If not can anyone give me their part number maybe I can source a pair from China?

Thanks as always.

Hi Joseph, do you have the VIN please to be sure? - but otherwise I think on the Pluriel there is only one type as shown below, number 5 in the diagram.
Pluriel Strut.PNG
8731H3 is the part number and these cost £34.27 inc. VAT from Citroen UK.

I have used SGS in the past for my C5 and they were perfect - they do do one for the Pluriel and are £15.59 inc. VAT. and are UK-made with a 2 year guarantee and 60 day returns policy - don't think you'll beat that to be honest. :-D Link here:
