Well as the warning suggests, you have an issue with the emissions somewhere. It would help if you posted or PM'd your VIN as we can't tell what model, year, engine and emissions system you have on your C5.

Ok, that will help and if you can also advise of the exact message and / or light you have on the dash / multifunction display

VIN is outside bottom corner of windscreen - passenger side for ease.

You need to get some diagnostics Graham. I can maybe do it (I'm in Lanark) but need to re-install the software first, as updating it has crocked it

The anti pollution fault covers a multitude of things including things you wouldn't consider being anti pollution faults.

Ok, so here are the 2 fault codes you mentioned
P0102 points to the Mass Air Flow Meter - so that would be my first port of call - try getting some specialist MAF sensor cleaner and spray onto the wire (but don't touch it!) That should clean the crud off it and hopefully restore the functionality of the wire and subsequently correct the signal being sent to the engine ECU.

The second Fault may be symptomatic of the first fault - as P0102 causes a backup mode to engage (no cruise control or speed limiter functions and the EGR valve is unregulated - so this may impact on the emissions system.

I would suggest you first try cleaning, or if that does not cure the problem, then replacing the MAF and see if that resolves you problem.

Got some cleaner and sprayed it on and fault cleared. After an hour or so I get the same anti pollution coming up but now with codes p2083 and p2084. Is this linked to the same sensor or am I entitled to start scratching my head now.😎

These are linked to the particle filter temperature sensors - but I really need your VIN or registration (PM it to me) to help further.
