I’ve beven looking at the Pcv/ valve cover / top cover / I call it the rocker cover but the plastic but on top of the engine.
I’ve seen a few types of gaskets, the one already fitted appears flat , possibly compressed.
One I bought off eBay is long and pointy maybe 3mm tall.
The one fitted in the new rocker cover I have is less pointy and more rounded.
The eBay pointy one I fitted and did not seal very well at all so that’s in the bin, I refitted the old flat one and it seems good atm.
Does anyone know the correct type ?
I can’t see how a seal that’s in a point can seal anything and why they aren’t just made flat.
Also FYI when tightening the bolts up , be gentle they snap very easy with little force.
