Ok, so the live data in real time will just carry on until you stop and then save it. When opening the PDF it slightly changes the format / graphing to show you the data slightly differently to allow for the time period.

For a PDF writer, I suggest CutePDF. If you Google it from their official website and install it, you shouldn’t have any issues or adware. They do have an editor if you want to but no obligation to install it. You will need a separate file installed (‘ghost’ something or other) that is needed, but go ahead it’s fine and very lightweight.

That should solve your print to PDF issues, that you can upload somewhere and link to on the site.

Going back the the graphing, it will show the low and peak values and probably over something like the time too. It all depends on the type of test.

I have done some more runs and edited screen prints for one of them together to give the complete list

I also enlisted SWMBO to video the laptop screen as I drove so both of those are here

My observations (even though I don't really know what I'm looking at or what to look for) You can see that the engine speed peeks at just past 16 secs whereas throttle position and butterfly angle both drop off just before 16 secs.Could this point to the pedal being faulty?
The camshaft angle goes up to 38 degrees as the revs rise and then drops suddenly at about 13 secs. The strange thing here is that the graph for the VVT solenoid if a straight line, should this be the case? The video of the live data shows it as "active" and when I did an actuator test on it last time there were no faults reported for it. You may remember that it is a new solenoid as well.

1601V6 appears to be fitted to my 307 which is going to meet its maker soon; if you want the pedal off it let me know!!

Richard, if the consensus is that it could be the pedal, how much do you want for yours assuming it's available?

Did that run provoke the limp mode? I can't see what's happening in the video really.... You want to try and see if you can see the pedal position and the butterfly position in the live data, and to see if they have copy position signals, and how these look against the input position. You don't need to drive it to look at these - and you may well not even need it running!

I'm planning to get the pedal off the 307 along with a few other bits before I call the scrap man...I'm not convinced that it's the problem on yours yet, but it would do for diagnostic.

Yes it went into limp on each run I did, in this case at 7136rpm. As I understand it the red line (when the rev counter lights up red) should be 7200rpm and the rev limit 7400rpm and it never quite gets to either of them.
I don't really understand what you mean by copy position signals, but on the graphs the pedal and the butterfly closely follow each other until the engine dies.
I'll try to have another play with it tomorrow engine off and also running in neutral and see what I can see.
I would be interested in the pedal if only to rule it out, thanks!

There should be 2 signals on the throttle body - one is the requested position the other is the reported position (ie the copy signal) if the two don't agree then it flags a fault - I think this is the P1160 / 1161 fault you are getting? What fault was it reporting when it went into limp the other day? Hopefully in the live data you can see both the requested and the reported position - and they should track one another. When I had trouble with the EGR valve on our C4 I eventually tracked it down this way - the reported position was all over the place. On the throttle pedal it may well have 2 tracks which should read the same - again if they don't it will spit the dummy.

You just need to stop pretending to be a boy racer and driving flat out Peter, stay under 7100 revs lol. Even though I pulled 7200 revs in that car in 5th gear lol

So to clarify, I actually have a pedal from a C4 VTS diesel should this fit my car?

There's nothing to suggest it shouldn't - after RP 10738, there are only these 2 listed, and there is no engine clarification:

01

1601 V6ACCELERATOR PEDAL
- REGULATOR AND SPEED LIMIT AND PEDAL STANDARD
1601 V7
- REGULATOR AND SPEED LIMIT AND PEDAL ALUMINIUM

1601V6 appears to be fitted to my 307 which is going to meet its maker soon; if you want the pedal off it let me know!!

Richard, do you have any idea when/if your pedal will be available? I'm getting fed up with the situation and having an almost unusable car so I may get a pedal from ebay and if that doesn't sort it out I'll leave the car with my mechanic to fix.
Lastly, I know the Citroen part number for the pedal, but all the ebay ads quote the Bosch number, how do I find that? None of the number in photos in adverts seem to match those on my pedal.

1601 V7 - The Loeb one and it's £195.18 inclusive at the dealer as of today. I've only got the PSA number for this sorry.

Thanks for the info. but I'm not over keen to splash out £200 on a part when no one's sure it's the problem. The car is only worth £1000 on a good day anyway.

I'm getting fed up with the thing now and seriously toying with getting this, ticks all boxes except I'm not keen on auto really. Anyone know anything about them?

Is it auto or a robotised manual aka the sensodrive was? An auto I could live with, but the robotised manuals I hate with a passion. I would think though that they are much improved over citroens dreadful sensodrive that I had on a c2. Even though I wouldnt have a semi auto gearbox.

Short answer, I don't know, but I like the look of them and Mrs Concern would probably condescend to drive it. Bonus points Ms Concern No2 would be jealous!
