I had a seagull do almost as much as that in Gloucester last week, waiting at the traffic lights and couldn't move off until I cleaned the windscreen, looked as though someone had chucked a bucket of whitewash on it.
Man is, by nature, a lazy beast, he does not need twice encouraging to do nothing.

Jim,

MacDuff and Banff are two harbours next to each other with numerous trawlers hence the population of seagulls is probably bigger and the 2 towns put together

I'm sure Davie will confirm this.

Must give my car a clean as well attacked by the seagull dambusters

You'd be amazed at how many seagulls we have hereabouts and we are as far from the sea as it's possible to be in the UK!!!

Seagulls are very prolific here, and where I live about 95% of them use the houses here as their nesting to have their babies in

And I'd much prefer an Arbroath Smokie :)

Some northern Arctic peoples enjoy eating seagulls through; they're considered quite a delicacy and sustains them through lean winter periods...

Seagulls are a protected species. I dont know why. They are flying rats as far as I am concerned. A shotgun would sort them!

Hi-Pressure "Water gun" with a water/lemon juice mix, they HATE lemon juice as it fecks with their feather oils. That will chase them off.
