C5 mk3 electric front window regulator replacement.

Post by crapday69 »

When my window jammed open due to a frayed cable I had to do a repair. I bought a few repair kits, but they where murder to fix, a few cut and jagged fingers later I just bought the whole regulator from ebay for under £60. It came from France and was a bargain. I see them under £50 now

You can follow the clear instructions here as I did and its very easy. It should take you less than an hour if you buy the complete regulator.

I hope this help someone as it did me. I want to try and help if I can, its only fair to give a little back.

Gary.

PS I really advise just spending the extra on the regulator rather than the repair kit, it does make life a lot easier.

Replaced it today. Took a couple of hours but didn't break anything ;).
Removing and refiting the speaker was a pain. Not sure why Citroen decided to use rivets.
