Looking for a Lexia in Reading area

Post by klaudivs »

Hello,

I need some help in troubleshooting a Sensodrive gearbox on a 1.4 HDi C3 in the Reading area
I will pay beer money and pick up/drop off (if necessary)
Please let me know! The dreaded snowflake of death is upon me!

Cheers!

Hi Greg, and welcome to the forum.

Although I have a Lexia system I have limited experience/knowledge, and none where the Sensodrive gearbox is concerned. I do, however, live in the Reading area. If you can research what is required I can hook up the Lexia and see what it shows.

thank you Hell Razor5543,
I'll keep looking for someone with the technical insight
The problem is that the garages i've called so far avoid the sensodrive gearboxes like the plague
while pointing to the 'warm' embrace of the Citroen dealers
meanwhile i got a booking to a local garage to try and sort something out
Cheers!

That what I got when my 1.6 sensodrive went wonky. It got towed to a citroen dealer where the bill was over £1100 3 years ago. It fixed the car, I sold it as I had no confidence, lost a heap of money, then saw the car for sale 8 months spares or repairs bust sensodrive. Once they go wrong they are serious moneypits. Sorry not to give you good news, but consider selling it as it is for spares repairs and buy another car with the grand its going to cost to fix.

PTS Developments in Eadthampstead just south of Wokingham should be able to help...

I used PTS Developments to diagnose a braking issue I had on my C5, and then to get her MoT'ed. They found the O/S/F calliper had a leak, and the front brakes were marginal. All told the price (including labour and MoT) was around £450. I would use them again.
