How did you write yours in?
Mines as per the diagram.
It clicks and flashes for pick unlocking but nothing actually happens

Mine did the same until I changed the wiring for 'positive trigger'. If I remember correctly I swapped two wires over. Can't check exactly as car and instruction sheet are in France and I am back in Scotland for a while.

Ok thanks
My units kaput I think, it is wired to positive trigger.
I'm trying to exchange it.
If you get a chance please upload how you did it in the future.
I'm sure I can manage but the assistance would be great

I now realise that I did bring all the details of the wiring with me back to Scotland. Will try and post the details with diagrams and pics over the weekend.

Ok. Lets try to do this logically:

To fit a new radio frequency remote kit to a Xantia 1

This assumes that the central locking is working on the key- it only replaces the old IR remote with a new long range RF remote. It relates to the Xantia 1 with no flasher activation - just the operation of the doors/hatch.

1) Remove roof cover, expose old receiver unit and disconnect plug. Remove unit and discard. Note the connections - see photo 1
Plip 1.jpg
Acknowledgements to Aussiefrogs for this pic. I only used 4 of the 5 leads, no2 orange was not used.
2) Examine new RF receiver, with reference to wiring for positive trigger. Identify the wires to be used See photos 2 and 3

plip3.jpg
Remove the old IR plug and connect new RF receiver to existing wiring. For my kit this was:
Existing wiring to receiver.....New RF plug wire(s)

Mushroom wire 1........................Yellow and Yellow/Black and Black. negative earth
Orange wire 2............................. not used
Grey wire 3.................................White
Grey wire 4.................................White/Black.
Note 3 and 4 may need reversing if unit plips but does not activate locks
Grey wire 5................................. Red 12v positive

There may be variations with different kits - the one I used is referenced in a previous post, but the principle will be the same. Complications will arise if you wish to wire in the flashing indicators using the brown wires , but should be possible.
I tested it all before tucking everything away behind the headlining. See last photo 4

Hope this helps

Perfect thank you.
That's exactly how mines wired up so it is definitely faulty.
The sellers ignored me all week so I'll force a return through Amazon today.
