SAT Nav Offset and Sync Aircon

Post by Kevlar »

Greetings,

I have been a fan of this site for a long time and never had reason to post...until now...but I'm confident someone will have the answer....

2. I have the dual zone air con, but I cant seem to get the zones to sync...on my 2008 when I moved the drivers side the one on the passenger side would follow the temperature, not the case with this one and there is no mention in the handbook or any trawling I have done. Usually there would be a "sync" button of some sort?

Any help is very much appreciated,

Kind regards, Kevin.

If you have the Dual zone climate control, the passenger and driver's side heater controls are independent of each other. This is by design. There is no 'Sync' option.

The option (in my C5) is accessed from the radio MENU button and working your way to the relevant options on the central display. It's a PITA as it's a simple button push of the climate controls to UNsynch them, but a right palaver to get them back into synch as above.

There's no option for this on the X7 Mike - it doesn't exist.

Wow, Citroen just can't make up their mind. It would drive me to distraction having to set two controls for the same effect.

Yes, my previous MKII, had dual climate and it would automatically set the Passenger side to the same temp as the driver - until the passenger adjusted their own controls. There was an option in the menu to configure this as you say, but it's a completely different system on the later C5.
