That's good news for the log book. I haven't seen one of those, when did that start? Regarding the CT, it will be noted as an advisory if there are different tyres on the same axle. I've found them less strict than the UK. A car will pass with a split CV boot as long as the CV is OK for example. Also you can use the car for 2 months following a failure or 'contre visite' Retests round here are 10 euros, so I just chuck the car at the CT and let them tell me what needs to done. I'm sure your also aware that the CT lasts 2 years. Both of mine are due in Sept.
All the best
Pete
Notice the BX is still top the list but sadly gone

I think it's standard on most v5 for vehicles regd after 2003? Both the van and the missus zafira have them but the vespa didn't so had the aggro of contacting piaggio in italy to get the CoC whof wouldnth accept payment from uk bank transfer only the other half's french account of which are visit to the bank was needed to then be told piaggio needed a copy of the bank transfer faxed to them who faxes docs anymore lol in the end it all went swimmingly so it's a trip to prefecture tomorrow or Tuesday to hand in the said paperwork and get the forms for the van and car

For a test that allows pop rivetted floor repairs, I can't imagine them being too fussed about whether tyres match, but - bonne chance!
