Budget of £2 sound more reasonable?
Yes please. If you don't mind but I suspect that even one, never mind the pair, might be a long time coming.

My 16 & 18mm impacts at the moment are cheap ring spanners and a lump hammer ;)

* actually I'm sure I have at least an 18mm impact socket from an Aldi set a few years back... (even at the Halfrauds prices, the usefulness would be worth it IMO as it's a common size on PSA suspension gubbins etc)

You may be surprised Paul, theres always a few stalls selling old tools. I've had a few good things for pennies. I go almost every week so chances are ok. After a jetwash for me atm but all the ones so far were tiny.

I'd be surprised if there are any impact sockets for Whitworth size nuts and bolts.

I was half expecting never to see them. Bought them more out of interest because my 1/2" 17mm deep socket hasn't made it from Wales somehow.

I ordered a set....as did quite a few people on one of the motorbike forums I frequent....no one's had a delivery yet! And the seller isn't replying to eBay messages or eMails.....The payment is still in my Paypal account, showing as 'not accepted yet', so I can cancel and reclaim it at anytime.

Ho hum, worth a punt though! :)

Do eBay traders not have a (can't find the word ) to supply as per the item description at the price quoted?
