BSI Reset...any sound or indication that a successful reset is done?

Post by AlvinCitroenC5 »

Hi,

I followed the instruction to reset the BSI on my 2005 C5 II 3.0 V6 Petro. Is there a sound or anything to indicate the BSI has been reset? Can I use the Diagbox / Lexia to reset the BSI instead?

Thanks.

There is no notification.........you are shutting down all ECU's on the car and letting them reset to their normal state. The BSI makes them restart in the correct order and allows for temporary faults to be cleared.
