In this moment my laptop is broken and I can't use diagbox.
I found a similar picture on internet and the menu where I try to change the values is in the red square.

Re: new battery c5
That's what I thought, but thanks for confirming. I never changed anything when I changed my battery for an AGM type, which are used on STOP START models. Mine isn't, but I like the reliability of the AGM.

Re: new battery c5
I think this setting is only for the Economy mode because I saw that when I change the battery capacity, the time until the car enter in economy mode is different.
I have installed a voltmeter in the car and I saw that the charging is working like with original battery. C5 has smart charging, when you start the engine the charging is about 14.3V, after the battery is full the charging drops at 12.5V and increase to 14V only when the car is in engine brake. I saw also that the smart charging is not active when the hand brake is on, because even if the battery is full and the charging is at 12.5V when I turn on the handbrake, the charging voltage increase to 14.3V

Re: new battery c5
Yes, the car has an 'economy' mode setting that will give you anything UP TO 30 minutes use before all electrical systems are shut off to prevent battery drain. The C5 has a battery charge status device fitted onto the negative terminal cable clamp that monitors charge levels and sets the amount of time you have to use equipment based on the charge level remaining.
When Economy Mode kicks in, and you then go for a drive, you are supposed to get the time you have driven up to a max of 30 mins before the next economy mode kicks in. Having said that, in the real world it never happens! I rarely get more than 3-4 minutes - maybe because of the other electrical options like the welcome function / seat positions and the NG4 system that stays powered up afterwards that need to have sufficient juice. I never did change the battery type in Diagbox, but I may go out and have a look tomorrow to see what other options there are now that you mention it.

Re: new battery c5
I have Diagbox 7.57, and there isn´t that battery technology type menu. Also it´s called BECB WRITE, not BECB_GEN2 WRITE. Is this related to Diagbox version, and what version should have that GEN2? I have AGM battery, and I would like to change that technology type, so that alternator would give higher voltage that AGM reguires (or what is the purpose of that menu anyway?). My charging voltage is around 13.1V when accelerating and driving at constant speed, and 14.8V when decelerating or braking.

Re: new battery c5
It will only list the appropriate battery that would be originally installed and AGM batteries were only fitted to Stop Start X7s with Voltage Retaining Devices which you won't have. The purpose is for the 'Battery Charge Status Unit' which monitors battery health, charge / temp. and is used for the energy management rather than the BSI.
Just select L3-70AH-760A which is what the battery type would be set to for an AGM battery on Stop / Start.

Re: new battery c5
OK, changed to that yesterday, and it seems that charging voltage is now 0,2V higher.

Re: new battery c5
Unfortunately now it seems that I lost the piloted charging; charging voltage is constantly 15V. Before changing from 75 --> 70Ah, charging voltage was alternating between 13,1 and 14,8. I tried to change back to 75Ah, but it didn´t help. Maybe this is better though, maybe fuel consumption rises a bit, but in the other hand battery should be full all the time.
