What a fascinating day to have a proper, methodical auto electrician here
This is what we found, this may help others
Fundamental my car has an intermittent feed to the injector earth's, this is through the 4 pin connector near the spare wheel plate
We found that a 4 pin black relay next to 'big blue' was very corroded and had stopped working
Also, there's a 5 pin oblong brown connector up by L/H wheel arch that was so sensitive that moving it, cut the engine.
HOWEVER, I now think that the final problem is the FUEL computer behind the glove box.
I've had this problem before, on G-GOO which I once owned and that too was a car rescued from long term storage
I'm going to fit a 'new' one and hope! Once again, thanks to Stan!!!!

Does anyone have any concrete info on aftermarket management systems......kdfi????
My electrician was very confident he could install such a system, anyone know anything??
