BX Suspension rising

Post by philhoward »

Quick one (I hope...)
When the BX is started after a few days, the front comes up in 1 second "jumps", whereas the back just slowly rises up. It doesn't seem normal; i've seen that the pressure reg could be at fault here, or is it just a sign of a duff accumultaor sphere?

I've seen this on most of my BX'es - have put it down to slightly binding struts.
My present runner also does this - even though I've lubed the struts. But it's very smooth and silent on front.
The acc sphere is 3mth's old - tick interval some 2minutes in normal height.

Just checked the rising; no creaking or groaning. Nice and smooth; perhaps I'll just live with it! Doesn't seem to make any difference on the move... Will check the tick rate of the reg later.
