Result and lovely little cars too :D I'm sure redhead will be ticked with it...

I had an AX back in the early 90s and loved it to bits... I'd have another one in a heartbeat...

Maybe she'll tickle you in return for getting it for her ;)

Go on, bring it to the Haynes Motor Museum on Sunday - I dare you :)

No MOT Jim.....thankfully :)

It may get more stickers as those on it were the first thing she noticed when shown the car and have since been the most talked about part of it.
It really could be a half dead rancid duck for all she cares.....but look "it has flowers on it" and thus she has now got a "connection with it".....ffs !

That is incredibly tidy.

I think you should get it a bud vase as per old VWs and have some real flowers inside for the handover.

The last one of those I bought and sold turned out to be grief, beautiful condition like yours on top but rotten as a pear in places underneath, needed a lot of welding, then a mate bought if for his daughter who promptly went too fast into a bend clipped the kerb and destroyed the front suspension enough to write it off.
Man is, by nature, a lazy beast, he does not need twice encouraging to do nothing.

This may be the case...I am basing my hopes on the condition of the boot :)

Cracking a headlamp glass would write off an AX these days, wearing the tyres out would probably write it off too.

1ltr petrol Jim, injection with a cat. Budget to "fix and MoT" is £150 max, any more and it is going to the bin (if rusty) or will be used as an Off Road Trials car by the boys with the 4x4's.
MoT history has no mention ever of rot ....so good hope there. It is a local (M Norton) car and has been local all its life, so good hope there as well for a rot free car.
