Hi
I would like to consult regarding the proper oil to my C5 2000cc, 16v petrol engine. it is after running 230k km's
and I have to change the oil. the oil recommended by Citroen is 5w30 but I have my doubts because the wear and the hotter climate, so, I'm considering to refill it with 10w40. could I have your opinion?
Thanx.

Re: C5 petrol - recommended engine oil
Been using 15W40 in Australia for 8 years ... no problem ever.
Citroën says 20W50 for the Gulf Countries and most Pacific Islands.
