Clutch leak (sealed unit)

110 xantia 2001, the brownish orange stain seems to have come back on the clutch pedal, haven't noticed any difference in pedal travel or resistance over the year but have been told that the reservoir cannot be topped up as it is a sealed unit. Has anyone suffered the same and in what order should I expect faults to occur from this issue. Has anyone retrofitted parts to fix the issue or is there a simple fix. Hope you can help.

I have never heard of this issue before, but I do know that the master cylinder reservoir can (with difficulty) be topped up.

If it can be topped up that's good news but I need to get the reason why it's leaking sorted first not sure whats damaged whether its seals not sure which and where or is it something else.
