synergie door switches
Hello all, does anyone know how the interior lights are triggered on the front doors and tailgate of a synergie cant find a switch anywhere for them but the middle doors have a conventional switch in the door jam.

Re: synergie door switches
I think they might be triggered by a switch in the door catch itself. You could prove/disprove this theory by using a screwdriver to manipulate the catch into the fully closed position with the door open & see if the light goes off then. (it would have to be fully closed position, as these type switch activate when the lock is "on the catch".)

Re: synergie door switches
The tailgate has what appears to be a mercury switch mounted within the tailgate itself, next to the light if fitted.
As for the rest of the lights I think they're operated with the door locks, as the lights come on as soon as you unlock the doors, or open them.
If you're having problems with them, it could be the frail centre switch on the centre console, they are a know weak spot and prone to failing, if it's in the wrong postion, the lights don't work as they should
