Bit of a long shot here..
Following on from a reply to an earlier post about the MFD I checked SEDRE wiring diagrams for the Xsara and can see that the Outside Temp Sensor is connected directly to the MFD. What I can't see, and hope that someone can help with is which pins on the MFD the wires go to? The 2 wires in question are numbered 721 & 722, they are colour coded GR & VI, which I think is Grey & Mauve. A slight wrinkle to my thinking is that according to SEDRE the MFD connector on the Xsara is 6 pins, but mine is 18pins. Maybe that smaller 6 pin connector is for earlier models or models with just a clock / temp?
