I would be so grateful for any advice:
My car had the head gasket done in the summer. Last few months I noticed an oil leak so took it to my garage. They changed cam shaft seals but it wasn't that. They noticed a 'groove' on the cam shaft pulley so they decided it was that not allowing a good seal so I have had a new pulley on as well as seals. Few days after repair and car is worse than ever and leaking puddles of oil.
The garage is adamant the leak is coming from behind the plastic cover where the cam shaft pulley is. I know this doesn't sound terribly technical but seriously this is what the guys at garage are saying.
I've took it back up today and they looked fed up I was back and they are saying they don't know what it could be. As things stand, I've paid over £500 and problem is worse than ever. I'm going to try and get rid of the car but really need the oil leak sorted first.
Sorry I can't be more specific about the problem but if anyone can give me any ideas I can take it up to the garage and suggest it to them as I am at my wits end! Tia

Could you put a picture up please, it's hard to say without seeing.
It may be worth getting an opinion from a second garage as well.

that is a pic off the internet and that's the same place the garage say the oil in my car is coming from
