Back on topic ... just purchased DDPAI M6plus dashcam. Looked a good all rounder and as i have a smart phone (doesnt everyone these days, maybe not) it made more sense to use that for any interaction with the cam via their app. Just a front facer though. I might put a rear one in as well cos the app can control two cams. Or so it says ....

I hope that it uses an internal memory system, and not that of the smart phone.

It uses tf (micro sdhc) card, max 128gb.

A couple of the local fuel stations have been offering these for £15

Have to say I've been tempted, just an extra level of safety, i know on the bike how much difference the camera makes to driver's actions when they see it!

Only for rear filming, these cannot really catch the number plates etc at the resolution they record at.....as said they are ideal for a rear recorder however.....
