Citroen Xsara Picasso 1.6i engine light

Post by andrej_citroen »

I drive Citroen Xsara Picasso 1.6i 109 hp. It was producced in 2007 and it has got about 120 000 km.
Today I started engine and engine light appeard and motor wasnt running properly. After one kilometer I stopped the car and turn it off. Then I started it again and the engine light disappeared. The engine works now. But I was wondering what was wrong ?

Frenchness?

Probably just a glitch somewhere that will never be repaeated, these sometimes caused by low battery voltage.
The only sure way to find out is to interrogate the system with a Lexia but it could be buried among dozens of spurious error codes that you will really never know unless it is repeated.

Then it is accumulator, because it is still first, original from beginning.
