I have a 4 set of Aston Super Wrenches, and they will bite like an angry crocodile! If they can get a purchase they will shift almost anything. I have seen somebody do pull ups using a couple of wrenches on a scaffolding pole;

Indeed - the cost is comparative - what will it cost to remove the engine as well as a lot of time.
The tools will always be there for other jobs too.
