The box with all the fuses and where the black grey and green plugs go in, is there circuitry below that could be faulty? Or a relay?

Frustratingly enough Steve, it has been noted on other posts that the pins may not necessarily be exactly as they are on the diagrams! So again, double check the code on the wire. It has also been known that the engine bay fuse box under the BSI can also be problematic, so I would, as a matter of course, disconnect the connectors and ensure they are clean using some electrical contact cleaner (not WD40) and re-connect them. They can sometimes cause problems.

Steve,

I have found in this frustrating type of problem to methodically work back along the wring loom to connector blocks and other such items until 12 V is found and bridge the problem.
