Xantia Series 2 1.9 Turbo Diesel yearmid 1998

I need a 00004007T7 Hydraulic Pump and a 00001331HV Radiator EST Citroen prices are giving me heart problems here in France can anyone help with any names and addresses for these parts? According to my Citroen garage the radiator is no longer manufactured Help desperately needed.

Have you checked out ebay France? They have some Xantia radiators:

These people show the Hydraulic pumps - and a Radiator based in the Netherlands and deliver to most places:

Morning Marc, I'm not up to speed, but I understood that the ZX was a totally different setup to the Xantia. I am now in a quandry as to which way to go...scrap it completely or repair it. 872.90€ +TVA (Vat) seems an extortonate amount for the Hydraulic pump considering that they are available from a source here in France for 626.90€ including TVA. But the question keeps coming up is it worth spending that sort of money!!!

What is wrong with your current pump? They are generally reliable, and some leaks can be easily fixed.

Actually - Scrub that - I've just read 'Xantia' from your description and for some reason have gone into ZX mode! Elma has now corrected this on your post as you can see - you might want to edit your profile to change Xantia to Xantia too!
This pump is slightly cheaper at 450 Euros:

But that is a good question that we've all probably asked at some point. Those pumps are in most cases used - so apart from the standard 12 months there's no telling how long it will last. For that sort of money and some, you could quite easily change the car! But then you've got the same problem of do I spend more money on a car that I know what work I've had done on it, or take a chance on something else and possibly have to start replacing things on that? - the old catch 22!

As Xantia V6 suggests - repair is another alternative.

For the radiator, it is also worth checking ebay.de and ebay.co.uk, also amazon, as they sometimes have more choice, and sometimes the freight charges are less than buying from a French supplier.

Ok all, thanks for the input. xantia v6 the pump apparently is leaking like the proverbial sieve, but I honestly haven't had to keep putting stacks of fluid. The belt on the other hand is wrecked and I think I one lucky son of a B to have got back to my place in France having just done well over a 1000km. The rad does have a small leak, I personaly think it can be stopped for the time being and when I find a new or good secondhand one replaceit. I have looked on Ebay but cannot find the rad that matches mine ie:1331HV, but I will have another look. Most garages here want to use genuine parts, which is going to cost 2134.56€, which is a tad too strong for my purse. But I will have a drink of Nuits St George, if it all gets sorted soon.

That first one on the link states 1331HV - if you scroll down to the info - they list it with the part info. At least they provide the measurements for cross reference too though.

Clean up the pump and see where it is leaking from. The most usual place is the O-rings under the high pressure outlet. This can be replaced for a couple of euros. Leaking from the shaft seal is more difficult to repair.
