Those are YouTube videos and it must be something with your OS or browser - they work fine for me, two different operating systems and three browsers on each.

Try a different browser. It is likely the Java or Flash installation out of whack.

It's a video Gibbo - that's a little odd, try the full link here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6t3YEOziAHQ

This has to be a real labour of love - I dread to think how much he has spent on this - a really clever guy - although an Italian K.I.T.T? mmm...

Now I've just got to get me one of these!:

Thanks, your links work, I guess I'll have to check for updates on the comp.

I think learning to use all that KITT stuff would probably take more time than having driving lessons and passing your test. :-D

I know, but fantasy aside - it just goes to show you can have a cool car filled with techy things that you can actually still DRIVE - which I think is the point :-D OK, so maybe I've yet to find a good use for Microwave Jammers and Lasers, apart from eliminating some of the nutters on the roads of course- but it should still be fun for the most part.

Makes me wonder if all this is to stop the stupid buggers who buy Audis from jumping the lights?

That's weird, I've done nothing about it but your videos are showing ok this morning, maybe a glitch in the boot up yesterday?

My son used Edinburgh public transport for years so never bother about learning to drive.

Now he has moved to Middleton Tyas he needs a car so started driving lessons.

Edinburgh has a flat single fare of £1.60 and £4.00 for the day saver. Daysaver you can make as many journeys has you wish prior to midnight but if you buy your daysaver after 1800hrs you can use it the night bus services.

So if you are coming for the festival travel around Edinburgh by bus. There is even a service which runs to the airport (No 35 FYI). There is an airport link service which is dearer but a lot cheaper than the taxis.

Milton Keynes was originally designed as a city for the car and in retrospect that was bad mistake as public transport here is utterly terrible and the way the city is laid out it's hard to make any viable form of mass-transit system work. Trams, as they have used so successfully in Nottingham would be fantastic but you'd need loads of lines all in a grid formation...

The only benefactors of this sad state of affairs are the taxi firms, all who seem to run fleets of Toyota Priuses... Anyone know why these particular cars are so popular as a taxi... Can't be running costs as a taxi in MK costs a bleedin' fortune...

Marc,

By the time I drive to the airport approx. 25 mins in good traffic and another 25 mins to city centre. The bus would be quicker :rofl2:

But gives me a call and I'll pick you up depending on traffic conditions, roadworks and RTA's. :-D

An old friend of mine lived and worked in MK, managing OU IT. Lived in a small cluster of four houses, each architect-designed as MK "houses of the future". His own house was the high-tech super-energy-efficient one, bristling (discretly) with insulation, triple-glazing, UFH, solar heating, heat capture, intelligent lighting...

All good stuff; the wiring in the back of the airing cupbaord was something out of The Enterprise. Interestingly, his was the only house of the four to have . . . a garage.

He needed somewhere to put some of his Rover P6's!

Was that house in Shenley Church End Chris? I ask as I recall many years ago a group of experimental houses being built in that area. One even had a wind turbine outside for power generation, long before they started sprouting up all around the countryside... It could not have worked very well as it was dismantled after only a few years...

It was mounted atop a tapering galvanised steel tower...

He must be a top bloke if he's into Rover P6s :D
