Ben, I cannot find a Citroen Reg Vardy in Harrogate.I can find Reg Vardy for other makes in Harrogate. Where exactly do you take yours?
Just out of interest R Vardy Citroen in Leeds wanted £172.00 against D Fox in Harrogate £127.00. I appreciate the suggestion though.

Reg Vardy doesnt have a citroen place in Harrogate, only Leeds. The Leeds Reggie said they had serviced the 18mth old car I bought; it still had the thumb print I put on the oil filter. I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.
If you speak to David Fox Harrogate, tell the bloke (David Stocks) on service desk that Ben Cowell recommended you. I won't get a discount or anything, just interested if the guy on service will remember I recommended someone.
I have used them to work on my past Xsara and a couple of times for warranty work on my C5. Dad got his Picasso from them too, so we are on first name terms with several staff.
They will even service your car while you wait, you could pick up a courtesy car one evening and colllect your car the next day or borrow one for a few hours, they are flexible.

I'm in Stafford. The Cit specialist is Chevron. They're on the Astonfields industrial estate near the Stafford rangers ground. Just off the Sandon road.

Are they a Cit dealer or a specialist? I remember getting an Octopus pipe from them for my old BX about 5 years ago.
I'm only in Rugeley, so possibly the closest to me...

The staff who work there used to work at the old Stafford main citroen dealer. The dealership closed down and these guys set up in a workshop down the road as Chevron. So, they are specialists. I've used them a lot. I'm happy with them.
A new Citroen main dealer has just opened in Stafford. WR Davies on the A449 as you go out to the M6. I've not tried them yet.

concerning software updates.......
Justspoken to 206 owner car 2 years old old dealer serviced, medium mileage, booked in for a new cylinder head, due to a valve starting to melt, It wasnt picked up at one of the services, apparently it was running mega lean, when it was pluged in it was diagnosed straight away, luckily there will no charge, something controlling the mixture went down but it still drove well, no ecu warning lights or anything. So I think it pays to be carefull while still under warranty. Something was mentioned about a software update but the guy didn't remember.
