I do not even know how to address the topic.
C5 X7 has rear view mirrors that are naturaly folding and automatically retract when the car is turned off and on, and when it comes on, they return to the "working" position.
I have very narrow garage door, and after small bump, my right (passenger's) rear-view mirror, when the car is unlocked, don't stops in the right place any more, but go all the way. I do not know, is there any sensor, or some index, or something that tells the rearview mirror as it should be opening, ie. where to fit in the opening operation.
I tried several times to open, close, stop by hand etc... it could be easily manually stops when opening, but can not seem to remember where was "working" position ...
There is a picture on the set of Service.box but nothing on it ... if anyone has experience, I would be grateful to know is there any solution except exchanging the part.
Attached is a picture montage of 4 photos taken with mobile, as I could in this low light.
The first photo is starting position, the other is where it would have to stop, 3 is where it already gone too far and 4 where it stopped...
Thanks to all!

Somebody else recently had a similar issue, and resolved it by putting something in the way to act as a stop (and it worked). I cannot remember the post, but it was within the last month.

I did mine by moving the mirrors back to the "fully folded position" (from Open ), I then pressed "FOLD", then "Open"

@Stickyfinger
I tried that few times, and it's still same. I guess it is mechanical problem... i searched forum, but wasn't able to find earlyer post.

As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.
