Yup.
My airbag light is flashing constantly. It did this when I bought the car, and I sorted it by disconnecting the battery then taking apart all the wiring connectors under the front seats and attacking them with copious amounts of contact cleaner.
However, it's started flashing again, and the technique mentioned above has not helped this time round. Any more permanent pointers, or anybody in NE Scotland with a Lexia who could help?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Mk2 Xantia Airbag Light
before going any further I would cut the under seat connectors off & solder the wires direct & heatshrink them. Cleaning the connectors is usually a short term solution. See if the light goes out, if not then its Lexia time.

Where abouts are you supernaut? I'm in Kemnay just west of Inverurie. I've got a lexia clone. I've found that its the white connector that gives the problems with the airbag light...and then only after someone moves the seat.I try to keep the front seats in the same place, but that's getting difficult as my daughter is driving now.
You're welcome to come over and use the lexia

I'm in Aberdeen itself but Kemnay isn't too far!c.morewood wrote:Where abouts are you supernaut? I'm in Kemnay just west of Inverurie. I've got a lexia clone. The use of a Lexia would be very tempting...
At this point should I admit I don't have a soldering iron or heatshrink? I've had a look under there and that's quite a number of wires to solder up while squashed into the foot well!

I'm back home on Thu and then around all weekend.. I'll PM you with my number. In the meantime try just moving the wires going into the white connectors..that often works for me.
