Ok guys I like to change out old parts on cars i just acquired. So the question is where is the fuel filter on the C£ SX 1.4? Is it under the car near the tank or hidden in the depths of the engine bay? and what part number is it if anyone knows?
Cheers lads

Re: Fuel filter
Is it a petrol one? It may well not have a fuel filter....post up the last 8 digits of the VIN and I'll check.

Re: Fuel filter
As Richard has said, if its petrol its possible it may not have one. Diesel engine will certainly have one. They started to delete their inline petrol filter fitment about 2005 (give or take a year?) , and just rely on the 'in tank' mesh filter affair.
In countries where PSA class it as "low / poor quality fuel" these ones *do* have the filter.
I think the pipework is slightly different so its not possible to retro-fit the filter unless you replace the pipework.
Similar with the later manual gearbox's, some do not have a level plug anymore ( ! ) you have to drain and then refill via the top with the correct amount. Interesting very early (BE units at least) did not have a level plug, then they did for about 15 years then they decided to not have one anymore. hmm.
Vin as indicated via Richard would be the way to be sure.
