Hi and welcome to the Forum :)

It is recommended to disconnect the battery before replacing the heater resistor, but not for the pollen filter. These are both located on the passenger footwell area - near to the centre console.

Location and Part Numbers

The Heater Resistor is No. 4 on the Diagram and the Pollen Filter is No. 5, with the Filter cover at No. 6
The pollen filter is a bit awkward to get to as once you have removed the clips and the cover, you have to remove the filter at an angle - the same for getting the new one back in.

Once you have the side trim off, you can see the Pollen Filter cover in the background behind the 'a'
The heater resistor (2) needs to be unplugged at 'a' and the earthing bolt removed at '3'.

Thanks for that reply Marc. Job has been done today and the pollen filter was the fiddliest to do but only took a couple of minutes. The diagram is not quite correct though, the pollen filter is directly behind the "A" in the picture with the pinch clips on either side of the "A", just squeeze and pull for access to the filter. The heater resistor is actually above the "A" in the picture, (item 10 in parts list) you can just make it out about two inches above. It's actually a square twist off and pull out item with a four pin multi plug, very easy when you have found it ! Removing the glove box is required for full access to both items unless you're an octopus !
Thanks again though, L222JJS

Ok, glad you got it sorted - I just assumed it was the other item you wanted - but both on there. :-D
