Please could someone give me some information on the particulate filter in a Nemo Van/Multispace from 2009?
What is the type of filter? Does it just collect soot or also burn it off when you run at higher speeds?
Is there a fluid that needs to be added to keep the filter working properly?
Thanks for your advice

Re: Info on Nemo Particulate Filter?
You sometimes get a small amount of smoke when you start the engine, but none afterwards. Is this normal or does it perhaps mean the filter is filling up?
Thanks

You have the 1.4 DV4TED Engine (Euro 4).
Your vehicle has an EGR system with a Catalytic Converter - you don't have an additive system on this vehicle.

That doesn't sound right Marc... euro 4 will not have a DPF - that came in with E5; E6 adds the NOX SCR / adblule malarky. Don't know about the ECU monitoring the oil either - neither of my DPF equipped E5s do this; oil change is just on mileage, and no need for diag tool.
