Hi all
This morning, when I checked the spare wheel, I've seen a black device, manufactured by Bosch p.n. 0263004089. googling it gave me the impression that it is a device that has something to do with the parking alert that beeps monitoring the distance to the object next to it.
Please tell me if that is correct and if serves another purpose, please let me know what it is.

correct.....depending on the model/year/equipment level it can be in various positions

That's the parking sensors' ECU unit
