An aluminium bodied Jaguar Xj6 would be my choice over a C6 . Please don't shoot me down on this 8-[ .

That's ok Mark. I'd have a supercharged Range Rover SVR over a C6.

The MP4 12c is actually quite an appropriate car to compare to a Citroen. Its suspension system is partially hydropneumatic relying on 2 accumulator spheres. As Citroen already used it on the C4 rally car I wonder if it is the "completely new" system they have hinted at using in the future. I would love to see this suspension on a modern Citroen, Hydractive 4 or Activa 2 spring to mind. Lexus have already done it so it's not to far fetched for a road car.
Tenneco Kinetic Suspension

Cross referencing the diagram from the first link with the pictures here gives a good idea of how it works.

Good reading here too, at the bottom past the Activa.

It was never used on the C4 rally car. Such systems were outlawed before the C4 ever competed.

Yes it seems the Xsara WRC got it banned. I always remembered it being on the C4.

Mitsubishi won Paris Dakar with the system too.
