C3 centre dash panel

My 2007 c3 centre dash panel is displaying 34 MPH and what looks like a picture of a car with short dots and an arrow pointing to the right, does anyone know what this means ?,
I have tried everything to get rid of it but to no avail, any ideas at all please.

That's average speed since the trip computer was last reset. The button on the end of the wiper stalk should cycle though the functions - but it's possible that the switch is no longer functioning. It might be possible to repair it by popping it out and refitting the copper contact inside, but it might not.... I'm sure there was a thread somewhere in the past with some pics on it, I'll see if I can find it later.

You are spot on, I never thought of the average miles on the last journey, I have just re-set it to MPG instead as I think that will be of more use, I should have remembered my Xsara had the same type of system, thank you very much for your swift reply as I really appreciate it, it's been driving me mad not knowing what it was.

Just select English first of all from top right
Then choose C3 and then the last model to the left in the drop down menu
Then your vehicle 2007-2008
Then on the left index, it's under MULTIFUNCTION DISPLAY and scroll to page 43, how's that!

Thanks Marc, that's very useful, I didn't have a book with the car, I don't know what previous owners do with them.
