1.6 hdi c4 grand picasso turbo solenoid location

Hi my car is down on power eml is on and has a warning of depollution system faulty . I had a diagnostic done and it came back as turbo solenoid faulty does anyone know where this is located on the 1.6 hdi engine as I can find pictures of what it looks like but can't find it in the engine bay. Also I did work on the egr valve a few days back is it in this area as it was a pain to get to and it's possible I've caught things in this area as the fault seems to of coincided with me working on the egr. AFAIK it's on the back of the engine, sort of above the bearing on the long RH driveshaft - I thought perhaps it was at fault on ours, but it turned out to be the EGR valve.....

Hi thanks for the help guys I have pm u give me a break. I am currently working on the car I have got the egr valve off but still no sign of the solenoid damn things playing hide and seek with me lol

I have found the solenoid it right behind everything now just to find the reservoir for it what a pig of a job

Reservoir is under the EGR valve somewhere - accessible from underneath.

The resevoire is number 3 I think you'll find.

The solenoid was held.on by cable ties so at some point some one else has been under here. The vacuum pipe.coming to it had a big kink In it so I have sorted that out the best I can now.for the reservoir

Mine has got a totally different solenoid to the diagram I found an identical one on a peugeot forum

Mine only appears to have 2 pipes going to it the same as the the pic above.

This is the part for the vehicle with your VIN - as you say though is there any chance somebody has already been there and replaced it with a different part? As you can see from the part numbers - there hasn't been any replacement parts listed that we can see either.

I was just going to say the same Richard! 1 on the diagram is the Solenoid, 3 is the reservoir which is what you have!

Ah I see well I found the reservoir then but not the solenoid reckon I will ring citroen tomorrow for a price to do the job as I'm at a loss to find the bloody thing lol thanks for all your help guys
